Inspired by minimalism & simplicity, ‘Travel Cubes’ are modular cuboid designs for various travel accessories including a Travel Plug, Battery Pack (6x Li-Ion 18650), Cable Holders and Tidies & a single cone speaker. The individual parts interlock using geometry, neodymium magnets and connectors.

With self directed projects I use real world dimensions & reverse engineer standardised parts however there is also a degree of artistic license present. Real world products can take between 6 months to several years to develop so the conceptual work I show online is a sped up version of the real process, often overlooking any really tricky problem solving & designing for manufacture that makes up a large part of the work I complete for clients.

This project made a splash on social media and was reposted by design curators on Instagram including @Megasu, @minimal_lemonade, @desainspot & @milkxhk.
