I won a 6 week contract with WMP Creative in 2023 designing rugged ATEX certified products for a multinational. This is not the end result of that project because it is under NDA however I loved designing overmoulded rugged products so much that I spent a few days designing this concept for a satellite phone. My key aims were to produce a design for a product that houses 18650 Li-Ion batteries, has a rugged aesthetic and to focus on the bringing the CAD surface detailing to a good level.
